Today is a day to be thankful.

Being thankful means taking the time to reflect and embrace the opportunities we have been given, the loved ones in our lives, and the people who have helped us to grow and become better people. It also means opening our hearts and showing our gratitude for life.

I can't help but think about how grateful I am that my husband bought a cute little home for us to fix up together. The roof over my head has allowed us to begin to build our dreams and create a life together.

I am grateful that I was given such an incredible education in our small town of Foam Lake. I look back on the opportunities the teachers gave me and the quality of education they proved the students with and I can't help but feel blessed. They took the time to connect with every student and put the students NEEDS before anything else. Each teach in this community played such a huge role in who I am today and for that I will be eternally grateful.

My heart is filled with the life lessons that my coaches taught me as they have taught me the fundamentals I needed to be a hard work, true leader and the business lady and teacher I am today. Without the incredible people of this community I would not have had the opportunities I did at such a young age. The volunteering that happens in this town should never go unnoticed.

I am overwhelmed with the love and support that my parents and grandparents have proved me with all my life. I was lucky to grow up with my grandparents near by. They were and are always in my back corner. My parents and my brother have been my rocks and my supporters. They are the people that know me better than I know myself --- even though they know all my flaws they still love me. Unconditional love is something that we all too often take for granted.

I am grateful for the family that I have been married into. Everyone has always been so inviting, supportive and loving. Each day they teach me new values and perspectives.

Lastly I am full of joy, happiness and DREAMS because of my beachbody family. I will forever be grateful for the family of positive, loving, inspiring people that have helped me follow me dreams and reach for ALL my goals. They have been my backbone and my supporters as I take my teaching education and put it to use to help OTHERS become healthier and happier.

The opportunity has truly been a life changing gift.
