It is all about MIND over MATTER ---

Fitness has always been a mental game for me --- excuses, what ifs, why not's, and how come's have kept me from feeling confident in the gym, in my workouts and in my own skin.

When I first started working out at home I still was holding back. I was so embarrassed to admit to anyone that I wanted to workout and change my body.  YIKES! Saying that out loud is so hard. Do you feel me?!  

In fact when I first started I used to tip toe down into the basement of the house I was renting a room in.  I didn't want anyone to know what I was doing.  Seems silly huh?  But I was so in my head and so afraid that I would try and fail!  Have you ever felt that way? It is so nerve wrecking!  I continued on this crazy sneaking around for 5 weeks before I started to admit to everyone in the house what I was doing!  I am sure they knew but I wasn't ready to say those words out loud!

So how did this change?  ------------------------------

I was in this challenge group with these incredible ladies who were doing the SAME thing as me! They were feeling the same way and facing the same struggles in their fitness and eating!  It allowed me to see that I wasn't abnormal or facing something alone!  It was a RELIEF.  It was the beginning of me breaking free of my self proclaimed limitations!
