CIZE WEEK 4 REVIEW



I might have taken dance classes for 14 years BUT I am NOT the smoothest dancer AND by no means do I catch on to moves FAST.

When CIZE was released I was super excited BECAUSE the trainer SHAUN T literally changed my life.  My first program, Focus T25 was created and led by him.  He motivated me each day to NEVER give up and ALWAYS push harder and do better!  I KNEW that this program would be no different!

Week one was SUPER fun.  The steps are simple BUT they get you sweating and feeling good.  Crazy 8's BRINGS the heat!  The repetition allows you to learn the base moves and become MOVING your body!  After week one I already saw AMAZING results!  The first picture above is actually from day 8 of the program! At this point I had already lost 3 pounds!  I FELT so confident in my ability to do this program!  Shaun really takes the time to show you everything but never makes you feel like you are slacking or not doing enough in these 30 min!

Week two was a WHOLE new ball game!  Shaun takes the moves and puts them in a new routine and even ADDS on to the simple moves!!! HE MAKES you work your butt off for 43 min!  Probably the funnest 43 minutes of my life.  I really got into it and felt like I could be on stage dancing!    After week 2 I knew that this program was going to change my life.  I started to see changes in my love handles and in my thighs.  My legs felt tighter!  I always look down at my legs when I walk and see the jiggles and the cellulite moving around.   (I don't hide it! I am proud of my body!)  BUT something amazing happened when I started dancing!  The lumps and bumps seemed to be going away!  Slowly... but going away!

Week THREE --- NOW this was an interesting week!  We were back down to 34 minutes of PURE hardcore dancing off my butt kind of moves!  If beyonce needed a back up dancer I WAS READY! Shaun had us busting some moves to "Lose my breath" !   All I could think was -- HOW fun would this be to do with my friends, family and even students!  T- Man (Shaun T) NEVER let's me down!  HE is consistent with his language and really allows you to  learn the steps.  He even talks about MIRRORING his body.  It isn't about being a perfect dancer BUT it is about moving.  If you are trying hard and mirroring his movements YOU will see results and TRUST me --- YOU WILL learn the dance!  It might take you all week BUT by day 7 you will BE DANCING that dance like you are the superstar you are!

WEEK four ---- YIKES.  I am going to be honest.  When I watched the first 8 counts I was " OHHH NO, SNAP.  Shaun just up the game."  I PANICKED --- I thought I can't do this.  IT IS FAST.  I even messaged two of my friends and said -- you better come up with some modifications fast this is HARD.  I took a deep breath and went back to the TV.  ----- That's right I PRESSED PAUSE.  LOTS.  But I kept going.  I just mirrored Shaun like he said. AND  by the end of the 36 min I had learnt about 40% of the moves and the rest of the time I just moved "like him".

Before I went to press play on day two I  had this awful feeling --- WHAT if I couldn't learn this.  WHAT if this was the end for me!?!?!  I literally stopped and sat down on the coach.  AND then I thought about my goals.  STOPPING wouldn't help me.  Shaun told me in the video last week that if I MOVED my body I would continue to see success.  SO what harm was PRESSING play and just moving!

SO THAT IS WHAT I DID.

I PRESSED PLAY.

AND I PRESSED PLAY -- 6 MORE days in a row.

AND GUESS WHAT?!!  By the end of the week I could bust some MOVES!  And those once too FAST of moves were now to slow for me!

I learnt a GREAT lesson this week.  SUCCESS can come out of anything if we put our minds to it.  If we never give up and keep trying EVENTUALLY we will master it.  Often the only TRUE obstacle in our WAY is us!  We make excuses so we can avoid "failure".  BUT isn't not trying failure?!

For the next TWO weeks as I finish this program I WILL not give up.  Each day that I move my body is ANOTHER successful day in creating a healthier life for myself!
